BLACK BUTTERFLY DRESS FROM ILKA'S VINTAGE SHOP

I am wearing the dress I got from Ilka's vintage shop www.ilkavintage.nl for today’s shoot.  White smock dress with black details of butterflies. The length is short enough to wear as a top and long enough to wear as a dress. We found a few locations for our shoot. Afterwards we had a bit of lunch to refuel on energy for the  interview with Ilka. 

She is very happy in her shop, she has the shop for almost 3 years. Her shop is her second home; decorated with tear sheet of magazines showing off her creative side. In her shop you find details of dried roses, “A girl who like roses" showing a bit of her feminine side, a vintage red patent Chanel make-up bag, a gift from a client. Her shop is welcoming and open, she is friendly and warm, she makes you feel at home. 

She loves fashion but she is not a follower of fashion.

While sitting with Ilka many clients walked into her shop and they were buying customers. Hippee…Most of her clients are international.

We carried on talking about life, business, kids and so on. 

She is definitely a free spirit, I guess a bit like me.

KRAKOW

I am not a travel guide by any means. I come to Krakow for work, but while here I find that it is a city full of culture.

Both the Historic City Centre and the Jewish District are brimming with cafés, shops and pubs and the 10-acre Main Market Square is a medieval feast for the senses.  The buildings are beautiful in their own, unique way.

The city is old and young at the same time. It's hip and creative. You can find alcohol shops open 24/7, so if you like to drink or need to wash away your worries, it's the place to be… and get washed away.
