SWING WITH LIFE - SPLASH ON COLOUR

Sometimes all you need is a splash of colour
xo

Sun is out, so why not be outside! It is winter after all so cozy up, enjoy, and embrace the sunshine since the days are so short.
The dress I am wearing is a wool mix with angora. I did forget that angora against my skin is not a happy medium. I knew that when I first bought it but that I was able to disguise that sometime every now again prick feeling. The trick is to wear a long sleeves long undress like a soft cotton t-shirt to prevent this. Great thing is, I do not have to wear it everyday.
I added layers of dainty chains to brighten the front and to give the dress a bit of a personality. Added the purple meets maroon tights, to up light the cream dress. It is always good to add some colour, even a shade that you will not dare to try. Go on and try it, it might just lighten up your mood and put a spring in your step. Go on and surprise yourself, if adding vibrant colours are to daring, start by wearing a piece of jewelery.
The key to adding colour to a bland item of clothing is that the total combine pieces of clothing has to synchronize, like your shoes with your bag, or your lipstick with your earrings etc.
The shade of blue within the scarf gives the black coat a fresh feeling. The scarf works well and the shade of purple in the beanie comes back into the tights. The coat is simple, elegant, and full of movement. The boots gives the outfit that edgy look.
To me this outfit is playful, simple, chic, feminine and edgy. I like adding different elements to my outfits since I think it compliments my personality.  Forgot to steam my sweater. (lol)

CLASSY & ELEGANT - BEIGE COAT BLUE SKIRT

Fashion is a potency in art in making it hard to judge between temporary and the lasting.

Fashion can be bought…..Style is what you do with it…

What can I say soft hues in winter, to lighten up the dark season?  I bought the skirt in The Hague at H&M. It certainly did not break my wallet. Inspiration to dress this outfit came from the skirt. Therefore, I reshop my wardrobe and found this gorgeous fitted jumper. Since it is all about soft hues colors, I wanted it keep all the colors in the same tones of softness.  The Jumper is of a light beige color. These two colors make the base of this outfit. The beige of the top part of the two-tone fedora hat comes back into the jacket and comes back into the jumper.
The fedora hat was a gift from a friend, and the blue grey of the hat picks up the colors from the skirt and the colors of the  grey platform boots.
Since I love wearing rings, I added rings on all my fingers but that's is really my style. I added the necklace to give the outfit an extra oomph. Without the necklace, the jumper would have look a little bit plain.  In addition, I finished it off the look adding the Chanel bag to bring out the gold color of the necklace and the gold tint of the rings. To give it even a more chic elegant look.
This outfit can be worn for a lunch event, shopping or even a fashion show, I guess I always dress to my comfort so if  I feel sassy and elegant then I am so fine.  I can certainly wear the skirt in the spring or summer and I am able to combine it in so many different ways . Ok let's see when and how I style it next time I decide to wear it.

Thanks for dropping by...

Change some accessoires and the outfit can be for a different occasions.

Fashion has always been a repetition of ideas but what makes it new is the way you put it together.

It was great weather for an outdoor shoot, the combination of an emblish skirt which is wearable for a day wear as well as evening.
I added a fun printed grey casual sweater underneath the jacket also beneath the sweater I am wearing a charcoal grey silk shirt. To keep my legs warm I wore matt grey tights with strappy shoes. I wore one earring and chunky silver necklace to give my outfit that funky rock and roll feeling. On my hair I wore a  diamante pin to give me a girly feminine touch.
Skirt wearable day/evening
Sweater is casually chic with the silk shirt
Silk shirt with ribbon add feminity to the look
I am also wearing a silver belt to clinch in my waist
Statement Jewerly to make my outfit funky and stoer
The beaded bracelets are my designs and style,  but with this outfit it works well since red with grey makes a great combination.
The cream cropped makes the looks more sophiscately elegant.
